Allez la France!

Computer's crashing again. Woo-hoo. :|

I can't believe how interesting the World Cup has been, what with all the dives and drama and all that. England crashed out last night on penalties yet again (oh noes!) but I can't believe that the press is vilifying Ronaldo for sticking up for his national side over that aggressive moron Rooney. Funny that. You stamp on someone's balls and you get sent off. (Who said football was for pansies?)

France were almost a joke at the beginning of the tournament. It looked like they weren't going to get past the first stage and instead they pwned Spain and knocked the seemingly invincible Brazilian team out to leave us with an all-European semi-final. Zidane is just the best, but Thierry Henry is one sexy Gallic git. I danced about and drank Kronenbourg while the pundits pontificated and played 'Hurt' for the defeated English team.

I love summer sport. :D

It's one thing, I suppose, to stick up for your national team - whatever that involves - but it's another to rush over to the referee, whinging again about an incident that didn't involve you and shouldn't concern you. The referee was literally feet from Rooney's stamp. He'll deal with it. He's the referee. Why's Ronaldo got to hurry on over to him and bitch and whine? I was surprised he didn't pull out an imaginary card and start waving it around.

Fact is that Cristano Ronaldo is a whinging, diving, petulant child, all style, little substance and I'm sick of the enormous cunt.

Well, true. My brothers say that Ronaldo known for being a bastard at Man United -- but I still don't understand why the press is baying for his blood, without acknowledging that Rooney was deeply wrong to do that to another player. In the end, his stupid temper won out and crippled England.
