So, hey! I take a sabbatical and meanwhile England ushers autumn in. How very dare it!

Chris and I went a-wanderin' in Formby and Southport today. I saw live red squirrels for the first time, which rocked. The fresh, crisp autumn air and the golden leaves were just as good.

Trees and stuff in Formby.

Squirrel!112

Random woodland stuff.

Sand dunes at Formby Point.

Chris being Chris.

This makes me feel like we're in a Michel Gondry film.

Onto Southport. Hijinks ensue! Or... not. Damn. All that walking necessitated water instead of a well-deserved beer.

There's always something so compellingly destitute about British seaside resorts.

Shiny lies!

Okay tired now kthnx bai.

Also, I have a chest infection that has outstayed its welcome. web stats analysis

March in NYC? Do you have any idea how craptacular the weather will be up there at that point? You should visit DC at the very beginning of April. The weather is warming up and the world famous Cherry Blossom Festival is going on. DC is never more gorgeous than it is the first two weeks of April. Besides, Becks will be in DC at that time too. Vera is a definite too. :)

Regardless of where you end up, I shall be there. :)
