Yaarrr!

Today I am in work, dressed as a pirate. I have a Jolly Roger at my desk and am bedecked in piratey goodness. Next to me sits Anthony as Gandalf, Louise as a zombie and Manuel as a... Scot. We've somehow managed to convince our company that Hallowe'en is exceptionally sacred to Brits and must be celebrated by dressing up, so we're going to be bobbing for apples and doing all silly stuff at 2pm.

Of course, this being Spain, the refreshments shall be cava.

Awesome day! >:)

Thought I was missing something here this year...

Since last year, our "fun" female (yes...) Managers have left, so nobody has even mentioned Hallowe'en, let alone climb over desks to bedeck the office in fake cobweb and such.

Just as well, since I, a person of height, was invariably drafted to do the hanging up, no matter what (important) workload was on my desk...

Urgh! Hallowe'en is one of my favourite times! It's just so morbid and great!

(I have had two glasses of cava and have witnessed a German guy in drag singing Sweet Transvestite... it's a crime to miss these things.)

Yes.... We like Hallowe'en too (Ang & I - witness our turnip carving), but here at work it was such a gloomy, forced, anal happening!
Also, I remember being *frantically* busy last year, and yet I was pressured into hanging decorations and such.
If this was a normal company - I'd be all for it. But it isn't. And so.
