Well, that's the thing with these memes. Secretly we all wish we were the one whom the author loves the most and dread that we got the 'eh, who are you again?' one. If I'd been entirely honest with everyone then they would find themselves in my meme, but I haven't, and in some cases honesty has never even been possible... so I guess this meme is so popular because it lets people be honest as they might never be.
