(no subject)

I popped along to La Boqueria this morning to get my pick of the market's unrivalled wild mushroom selection. I thought I might get some duck eggs, too.

I'm back several hours later with three dressy tops and a tartan scarf for my upcoming business trip to Edinburgh, make-up and a secondhand books haul of Maria McCann's As Meat Loves Salt, War and Peace and The Catalans by Patrick O'Brian. Thriftiness: I need to learn it. *Snuggles materialism*

I hope you enjoy Edinburgh. I'll wave as you shoot up England on the train!

By the way, I am just in receipt of 'The Graveyard Book' by Neil Gaiman. Reviews praise it as the best thing he's written. I'll read it over half-term holiday. Have you heard of it?

I've heard of it, but not read it. DO let me know if it's any good and I'll give it a try. (I adored Night Watch, by the way...)
