I'm not sure. It's really weird -- I know that Spain has a huge problem with illegal immigrants from north Africa, but something tells me an illegal immigrant isn't going to be too bothered about applying for legal residence or payment of taxes, so it just hits people like me, woes. The EU has been all, "O hay, you can't do that, Spain!" but the practice still goes on.
