I think I have the 'flu. And I don't mean a three-day bout of sniffles which everyone labels the 'flu. I mean 'my limbs have been soaked in cement I haven't had this since I was hospitalised at seventeen with it' 'flu.

I knew I should have stopped procrastinating over getting the bloody influenza jab!

Anyway, right now I just want to collapse. I've spent the last two days feeling sorry for myself in bed. It started off as...er... throat-ache. My throat wasn't dry, but felt like someone had punched it from the side. Then the headache came. And then the backache. Then the aching legs and limbs. Then the fever. Now I suspect coughing is going to fill this week's schedule.

This is just awful. I don't like my body betraying me like this. The only consolation is thank God that I'm in Europe so I can go running to the hospital should I require it. Urrrrrrrrgggghhhhh ;_;

I tend to always get sick after major travel....airplanes are nothing but a hotbed of germs with nowhere to go but on you. I really hope you feel better soon and I'm glad you're home so you can run to the hospital if need be. The last two times I had the flu I ended up in the hospital because of dehydration.
