I know a lot of women hate it but bear with me -- the attention I got really was an ego boost. I've lost a lot of weight in the last six months and to just be dressed up in my nice new slimmer!clothes was lovely.

Who cares what the naysayers think, it is awesome to feel beautiful. And weight loss is a major accomplishment - congrats! You deserve to enjoy it. :)
