1. I had lots of favourites. Including Persephone, as we've discussed. There was this one fairy tale that I'd never heard before and have not seen anywhere else, about a man in a giant's castle who has to eat the giant's porridge but he can never finish it so he puts it away in a bag under his clothes and the giant is fooled. I'm not sure why I found it so interesting.

2. Oh, I don't know. Maybe just Oscar Wilde and Henry James, and hope they go to fisticuffs.

3. Not famous, but known. I'd like my words (ie, writing) to be read around the world and to stick in people's minds. I want to write in rock, not sand.

4. In a complicated way. I know there's something more than this life. There has to be. Even if it's just reincarnation, that's a kind of afterlife. I know that, in identifying as Catholic I'm supposed to subscribe to Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and the rest of it, but I'm still working all that out.

5. Kelly got her cooties from Becky.
