...In which I come over all cockerney sparra and am subsequently strangled by those Southern people pigeongirl99, squishypeanut and diana_molloy for blasphemy.

Anyhoo, new!boss was a bit arsey and insists I have to do four hours' work tomorrow morning before I pelt into town and get me on that there train to London. Am off for a couple of days with patchworkgirl_ to see that band Luxembourg, for general hedonism, absinthe and to ogle Damian Lewis take in a play. I wanted to argue that sleep for such a weekend was a requirement over sorting out bloody referrals, but seeing as how I haven't reminded her that I'm going to be in Venice by Thursday, I thought I ought to keep schtum.

I want me some absinthe. Why is it I never get any? Places never seem to have it when I go to them. Either that or they lie. I don't see why they lie considering how much they charge for the stuff. But at least they don't pretend they have it then give you creme de menthe. I don't know why they would do that either though... *stops talking*
