Cli-che is funny, but it degrades the man.

I was actually too saddened whilst reading the book yesterday to continue at one point. Here's a young man full of dreams and hope at the beginning, talking about his dog and the people he meets en-route, worrying about fixing that bike, and yet the beginning has a timeline that talks about when he was murdered in Bolivia. I mean, I realise he was a revolutionary, a fighter, all is fair in love and war, etc, etc... but still, I'm reading the thoughts and dreams of a murdered person. Bleh.

LMAO! Yeah, canon is its own wanky paradox. But pretty cool.
