rebness: (And Then)

The excesses of the past couple of weeks have prompted me to take up another (undoubtedly shortlived) wellbeing kick, so today I:

* Managed twenty minutes on the stepping machine o' D00m, hard level
* Read a Rousseau essay, Brokeback Mountain and three chapters of a novel
* Made sushi for lunch tomorrow
* Drank copious amounts of mint tea and water
* Ate a chocolate and cream crepe

All right, so the last one is pretty shameful, but still. Health, wealth and mind taken into consideration today. Good, good.

chocolate and cream crepe

Mmm yum! Sounds very nice to me. I reckon Chocolate must be good for your well being too. :)

Good choice of films. You've just reminded me that I really need to watch Good Bye Lenin!

I have to admit, the crepe was *good* :D

Good Bye Lenin! is a great film. It presses the reality of the harshness of life for those in Germany struggling to adapt after Communism but with gentle humour and a sympathetic (and gorgeous) lead. Heehee.

How did you like reading Brokeback Mountain as compared to seeing the film? Also, I saw only one movie on your list (so far). Guess which one? :D

The story was strange to read. Alma was less sympathetic, but I think it made me understand Jack and Ennis a lot more.

Only one? Crivvens! I shall have to pester you to watch the others, now. Hmm... Fight Club?

Hmm... Fight Club?

Am I that transparent? LOL!! Ok, I'll READ Brokeback Mountain though I usually do that the other way round with books/movies. Except for Harry Potter.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, I'll try one of those movies. Amelie seems to be the best choice I'm thinking/wondering. ;)

Amelie is the cutest thing ever and must be responsible for a surge in income for the Paris tourist board. Hee.
