Oh, Learned F-List...

Please to be recommending 80s films. I've rediscovered my love for them over a computerless weekend (and there's a sale on at the local DVD shop) but The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller will only get a girl so far. The trashiest, sharpest ones will get priority spandex.

St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science. ANYTHING BY JOHN HUGHES. Please to be sending me *pink* spandex!!!

John Hughes is the greatest, in that funky 80s way. I'm out of pink spandex, but I can offer you blue and red zig-zag spandex?

I'm hoping that's blue *OR* red zig-zag and not together :p

I just thought of more: Legend, The Dark Crystal, and Splash!. Though any of them could be really early 90's. Am too lazy to look them up >:)

I like The Breakfast Club better. Somewhere in my sieve of a brain I've got the whole thing memorised :D :D

One from Weird Science: "Give me the keys, Lisa!"

EAT MY SHORTS!

I didn't realise how much that film has influenced aspects of The Simpsons and Futurama. All hail that fount of knowledge, Wikipedia.
