Please to be recommending 80s films. I've rediscovered my love for them over a computerless weekend (and there's a sale on at the local DVD shop) but The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller will only get a girl so far. The trashiest, sharpest ones will get priority spandex.

John Hughes is the greatest, in that funky 80s way. I'm out of pink spandex, but I can offer you blue and red zig-zag spandex?

I just thought of more: Legend, The Dark Crystal, and Splash!. Though any of them could be really early 90's. Am too lazy to look them up >:)
