Fookin' hell
I am making Gordon Ramsay's rabbit fricassee with potatoes dauphinoise* tonight, two recipes that probably don't go together, but are indulgent and awesome, as compensation for such an awful working day. There were the terrible phone calls with irate Liverpudlians, the stupid stupid STUPID woman from the Child Support Agency who demanded I flout Government rules and also change the way SAP is programmed. patchworkgirl_ to contend with, who unfortunately was back at work.
Feck it. I had some cheesecake on standby for Saturday, but I think I deserve a slice tonight. Woo! Life is looking up!

My best phone call today was someone who doesn't see why asylum seekers should get to use the NHS.
ME: They don't
