Well, there were about five people in the evil!office today, all of them friendly enough. The troublemakers have been suspended, and I mainly just helped with blood results and sat there eating toast for much of the morning, before escaping back to my proper job after lunch.

I couldn't eat anything more than a bowl of soup for lunch. My throat is really sore and I spent the day feeling dizzy. It's been coming on for a few days, but I've mainly been able to ignore it because I'm always bleedin' ill while working at that hospital. I went to the loo during the afternoon and had to sit on the floor, my back to the wall, for about ten minutes to regain my composure-- I was that dizzy. Then I freaked because I'd been sitting on the floor of a toilet and made use of the alcohol solution dispenser. Eugh.

Hence, no wine-and-silliness night out with my colleagues tonight, seeing as how two of them are also struck down with the same bug. It does mean, however, that tonight I appreciate the spectacular properties of flannel pyjamas. *Snuggles*
