So Anne Rice gave yet another interview about Being Duped by the Christian Church and Rejecting it in The Guardian, telling us the same things she has been talking about for several months now. This time, however, she's also obsessing over Atlantis. Colour me disappointed.

The only real compensation for this tiresome saga is the fact that the interview appears in a paper with the most wonderfully trollish readership I've ever seen. I love the comments on the entry, even if they do inevitably devolve into religious backbiting. (Christians are terrible! No, everyone else is)!

'But,' asked mothergoddamn, still pondering yesterday's Lion King characters mourn modern history art post, 'what does Simba think about Anne Rice's leaving the church?'

And I don't feel so much that she's a rebel as a dimwit -- she rejoined the Catholic church without knowing their stance on abortion, gays etc. and then was shocked by it years later? [/facepalm]
