I completely agree. I tend to be one of those who snootily dismiss big budget action-adventures, but I adore Terminator 2. It's thrilling, well-paced, fun and scary. I adored it as a child and I love it now.

I've probably seen it more times than any other movie (or it's neck-and-neck with Interview), and I'm really happy that it still holds up for me.
