As much as I don't like London, as much as I didn't think it deserved the Olympic bid win, a suspected terrorist attack on the day after the Olympic jubiliation is a brutal and calculated thing to do. Asshats. Thankfully, there are no fatalities as yet-- but if this is linked back to a terrorist group, what are the bets that the word "Iraq" won't be mentioned but "ID cards are needed now" will?

And what's the betting that, whatever the outcome, ID cards are still pushed on us because they will magically prevent terrorism. As they did in Madrid.
