Lovely Friendslist, be honest. These answers can be anonymous and, after discussion with colleagues and family today, I have to know the answer to this.

You see a cat. The cat looks particularly snooty and disdainful, in the way cats are wont to act. The cat is sitting on a relatively low fence. If, say, the cat were pushed, nothing would be hurt except its dignity. You're walking past it on a narrow, say-- typically English-- street. Poll time!

See, it's great when they fall. They try to pretend they meant to do that, with wounded dignity, even as you're laughing and pointing at them.

That said, it wasn't funny when Chud fell off the roof and broke her hip. Idiot cat.
