Am full of cold at the moment. My throat is killing me; my eyes are watering; my nose is raw. I think the common cold is heavily underrated in its capacity to inflict sheer misery upon its victims.

One is about to have a child, but otherwise we’re mainly a barren bunch of misfits.

What did you do yesterday?
Went to work, then came home feeling sorry for myself before curling up on the sofa with a blanket, some hot lemon and a good book. Am so fecking ill at the moment with this cold from hell.

What big concerts are you looking forward to?
None at the moment.

What's bothering you right now?
An e-mail sent around to our team today that left me and my colleague Clare frothing at the mouth. We’re still deciding what to do about it.  

Next vacation you're going on?
London-Sarajevo-Mostar-Budva-Dubrovnik in April.

Last time you had butterflies in your stomach?
A couple of nights ago, trying to decide if a beetle was a beetle or in fact a cockroach.  

What did you dream last night?
I don’t recall. Usually I do, but I was in fever dreams last night.  

Does your phone ring in the middle of the night often?
No. And if it does, I leap up out of bed in case it’s Bad News. I fear late-night phone calls more than anything.

What gets in your way when you're sleeping?
Clothes. Off with them!

What are you doing tomorrow?
I am having the strangest sense of déjà vu.

What is something you've learned about yourself recently?
That I’m growing apart from people who have previously been a huge part of my life.

Who was the last person to make you cry?
My dad.

Procrastinating before getting ready to go out to a meal.

What is one thing you miss about your past?
Security.  

Are you jealous of anyone?
No. I don’t think I’m jealous. I burn with injustice at some things, but I’m not jealous.

Is anyone jealous of you?
I don’t think so.

Do you have a best friend?
Yes. However… er, nothing is static.

Do you regret anything that you have done in your life?
Yes.

Have you ever been in the emergency room?
Yes; with asthma attacks, broken finger, palpitations and when there for family members. Also, I’ve worked (briefly) there.
