Places in the UK That I've Visited
Or even lived in...
I've visited the counties in yellow. Which counties have you visited? made by marnanel map reproduced from Ordnance Survey map data by permission of the Ordnance Survey. © Crown copyright 2001. |
In my defence, these are only places I've stopped off at.
Also, a lot of Britain just doesn't impress me/I hate/am scared of. So nyah. :p

But then again, given that Queensland is probably the same size or bigger than the entirety of the UK... :p
Re:
I've seen way more of France than the UK. :|

Re:
I hatehatehatehatehate Sheffield and will never, ever, ever go there again if I can help it. (Long story). I also hate Milton Keynes, and a lot of London. And much of Merseyside. Some parts of Preston.
(Apologies to anyone from any of those places.)

Re:
But, more than that, I reheaheally wanted to get home. But no! I got stuck in this bloody horrible street, lugging a suitcase behind me. It started to rain, but no cabs would stop because the road was too busy. I got a bus to the city centre, and it cost me something ridiculous for a few stops.
I then had to wait in the Ugliest Bus Depot Ever for a National Express coach to take me back to the west of England, but the wait? Was two hours. I was starving, so walked up to this really horrible chip shop and bought some chips there. They were nasty. It rained some more. The bus was late. I was used to the warm weather in France, so I was all shivering and stuff. I spent three hours waiting for a bus in that horrible station, with scary gangs of teenagers hanging around and just... I can't explain it. It was depressing. I'll never, ever go back there.
And I really pity you for having lived there, seriously. But hey... at least you live somewhere nicer now. ;)
Re:
Oh, London was pretty scary too. All that "No walking on the grass. No knocking on the Prime Ministers door" really had me edgy. Plus child hood trauma of said city :(
Finished now i promise!
