Oh, dear. Well, the toothache is settling down even if my palate still seems to resemble that of the Elephant Man. This is progress.
I've also Done Some Things That Needed Doing, By God, because procrastination kills fluffy puppies. I'll post more about that if something comes of it, but in the meantime, I have to say that Wikipedia has become the lifeline for a girl who is sick of daytime television. Random things I learned today:
* Aušra is the hypothetical goddess of the morning in Lithuanian mythology
* Saying a contentious issue is 'contentious' is a personal POV
* Drop bears are not real and saffronlie is merciless with Poms >:
* In Roman mythology, Rome was founded on the 21st of April, 753BC, by those terrible twin descendants of Aeneas. Hey, cool! It's Rome's birthday tomorrow.
* The Rebecca riots are an infamous part of Welsh history. Rebecca is also the name of an East London prostitute hur hur (the name 'Rebecca' also seems to be trolled a lot.)
* Eliza Dushku is part Albanian
* Turkey is in Europe. No, it isn't. Yes, it is. No, it isn't. Yes, it is. No, it isn't you h0r.
