Oh, Saturday
Jan. 12th, 2008 09:50 pmHaven't done much today. I've been coughing a lot, but I think it's acid-related rather than this lingering damned infection. I suppose I deserve the punishment for the awesome parsnip curry I just had to make. Mmm.
I took Chavo out for a wander as I shopped for vegetables and had to explain to the really nice Indian guys in the shop a couple of doors down for the thousandth time why I am not in London but in Spain. (They had a vote and decided London was better; I decided not to pursue the hundreds-of-kilometres-away-from-Liverpool argument.) They're always giving me stuff for being British, though, so I can deal with that. :p
Tried to watch Knocked Up, but I didn't like the first fifteen minutes and it was taking forever to stream, so abandoned it. I turned to Hairspray, which I do like, but the excessive singing and my general irritability made me go hunting for other stuff, instead. Best thing: I finally managed to see the Doctor Who episode Blink tonight. Fookin' hell, I want my mum! Good thing she's coming over for a brief mum!holiday this week.
Eh, I dunno. I also wrote three drabbles, but they seemed better in my head? I'll post them regardless, but after an englightening conversation with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
avariecaita in Paris, I feel that this really does need to be srs year and I'm going to have to write a couple more pages of my failed attempt of a novel. If I get to ten pages, I'll have matched all of 2007's effort!
