I think I have PTSD from Being Human.
I still think the ending was a massive cop-out and a hasty rewrite (the latter of which has at least been confirmed by Toby Whithouse) but... I feel like I'm going through the stages of grief here. Denial, anger, bargaining. I can't believe a bloody TV programme has upset me so much.
It's like the end of an era. I love my trio and feel for their travails more than any other characters (yes, even L/L) I've ever adored. I just can't, bbs. I can't.
*weepy*
No but srsly, I was in the pub before and some 50s music came on that would totes fit into a Mitchell/Herrick scene and I was horrified to feel like I was going to blub. Is this a sign that the show is deeply awesome or has majorly messed up? Or am I messed up? Should I reserve my PTSD grief for Shakespeare? Because Titus Andronicus (hola,
pandorasblog) didn't even have such a brutal ending. I need to write an essay about this and why it sucks!
Crying, bbs. Crying.
Again, major spoilers in the comments for those of you who haven't seen it!
