First stop in Missouri: Nostalgiaville, USA! It was more or less just one big store full of nostalgic items, but it was fun!

I don't think we were in Kansas anymore. Haha, I just slay myself. *wipes tear away*

So we hit the Hermann wine trail in Missouri. I loved this place! It was so quaint and reminded me of Freiburg in Germany. Lovely.

The view from one of the wineries. It was so lovely - a drive through these woods and up a gurt big hill. We tried several times to find Stone Hill winery, but it was like trying to find Atlantis. This place sufficed, though.

Of course, we had to try another winery, just to be sure. >:D

We stopped for dinner at some little place serving nice Italian food and pictures of John Wayne. I ALSO REMEMBER that my evil travelling companion terrorised me with a spider here. >:|

Tennessee. OMG. It was unbearably close here, so hot. I was terrified about how New Orleans would be if this was already too much for me,but we had air conditioning and stuff and it was still Memphis, so no need to complain.

Yes. It's a picture of a television set in the motel. The US had just had an amazing football game (I think against Algeria?) and hammered a goal in at the very last minute, into extra time. I jumped up and punched the air.
