rebnessOh, dear God, oh God, oh God, I'm going to Japan tomo...today! D:
I'm not nervous about teaching, or meeting new people, or any of that stuff. I'm just terrified about getting there late afternoon and getting that train from Narita into Tokyo and then somehow getting the correct train to Koriyama and what if my contact isn't there? What if it's all some terrible trick? What if, what if, what if? It's not like that time I had to sleep rough in Paris! It was jolly, near-to-me Paris. This is, like, all the way over there and oh my, what if...
Anyway, that's the bizarre way in which my mind has been working over the past day. It's been torture. I am sure getting the train in a foreign country where I don't speak the language is nowhere near as bad as what my mind has conjured up. Steel yourself, Becky. You can do it.
Well, anyway, I don't know how frequently I'll be online in the next few weeks. Tomorrow, if Immigration tells me to feck off. Let's see how this misadventure pans out. My facial expressions alternate between:
