I really don't know a lot about Anne Rice. Before reading your post, i didn't realize she was such a conceited woman. But i do know this much, i am upset with her for more or less blaming her atheism for the cause of her writing the Vampire Chronicles. I think it's great that she has her religion now and seems very happy with it, but it's almost like she's trying to justify her reasons for writing the Vampire Chronicles, like it's something she's ashamed of? I don't know...just her attitude is such a disappointment to me.
