rebnessSo, hey! I take a sabbatical and meanwhile England ushers autumn in. How very dare it!
Chris and I went a-wanderin' in Formby and Southport today. I saw live red squirrels for the first time, which rocked. The fresh, crisp autumn air and the golden leaves were just as good.
Trees and stuff in Formby.

Random woodland stuff.
Sand dunes at Formby Point.
Chris being Chris.
This makes me feel like we're in a Michel Gondry film.
Onto Southport. Hijinks ensue! Or... not. Damn. All that walking necessitated water instead of a well-deserved beer.
There's always something so compellingly destitute about British seaside resorts.

Also, I have a chest infection that has outstayed its welcome.
