But! But I finally got around to watching RotK and I was hugely disappointed in myself to practically have to pick my jaw up off the ground after a certain shirtless Frodo scene.




I've always known that Elijah Wood is a looker, of course, but at certain moments in that film, like never before, his beauty was astounding. He reminded me of some dionysiac figure-- I can't quite fathom it-- just... the epitome of beauty.

I'm not sure why you found that in this movie, when he spent most of it covered in dirt and blood with gummy lips and wasn't nearly as dewy-eyed as in, say, Fellowship, but yeah. :D

Well he had his shirt off, although in the book he's supposed to be naked in that scene, heh heh. And he probably did have a snail trail, although I wasn't really looking there, I was more focussed on the strange scar that looked like a third nipple.

I do like his little "mohawk" though. It suits him, and adds a good two and a half inches to his height, which is a good thing.
