So true! It's so annoying to be suffering so badly when most other people (apart from the Germans, haha) are perfectly fine.

My skin is perma-pink/vaguely creamy now instead of shocking white or angry red. I'm trying to take better care of it! :p

We're also having problems with tiger mosquitoes again. I read in the paper that they were having problems in Italy, but how is it in Venice?

Tigers mosquitoes have been a problem for some years... I haven't seen much of them lately though. I hate them, the same tiger mosquito is going to sting you many times in a row, and mosquitoes seems to think I'm pretty yummy :/

I can't bear how fearless they are. They always get me in the day and leave the normal ickiness to the other mosquitoes of a night. I was bitten in the same area on my face three times the other day!

They definitely have their preferences, don't they. I suppose we must just be irresistible... I don't know whether to be angry or flattered! :p

That was here last weekend, just yucky, hot, and humid. So I definitely feel your pain. Hope it gets better or at least more comfortable. We are all going to fry if the weather stays this way and I am not looking forward to that.
