Today I woke up at 1.45pm and I have no regrets. Well, apart from the sun setting in the next two hours, but it's raining outside so all is good.
Alas, today is my last day of unadulterated laziness and late late nights until at least April. I have done something very silly and got myself a job, starting February. It's only broadband support and for a company literally at the end of the lane on which I live, but it's all I want right now. I need to save more money for epic summer travel and if, as I hope, Japan is part of that, I need a tonne more cash. My only worry is that I shall become all corporate again and end up eschewing the summer travel (or at least cutting it down) to continue working full-time. I hope not, but I can't trust my brain on these things.
Tomorrow I'm going to Austria for a spa break for my birthday, my last hurrah before work drains my soul. Exciting! You know life is rather sedate when the most dynamic thing will be a massage. It's not always a bad thing.

Date: 2010-01-27 04:26 pm (UTC)I'm excellent at interviews, I admit, but then they think I'll be awesome when I'm actually a fair-to-middling employee. Ah, well.

Date: 2010-01-27 04:27 pm (UTC)Yeah, it was awesome because I don't want to invest too much time in work right now and I thought how great it would be to get a job near to me. This is literally the nearest I could get. Heehee.
Calendar? D:
