I dug out a DVD of ace Spanish cartoon from my childhood days, Dogtanian. This funky programme was an adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' D'artagnan, only cooler. With animals. And the voice actors having to speak reallyreallyreally fast to keep up with the Spanish animation.

It got me searching online for some information on it, and, lo and behold, I am across this most excellent site.

Not only do we get the usual nostalgia and the very true rantings about how the kids' programmes of the eighties are inherently superior to today's fodder, but we get clips! Pictures! Theme tunes! Everything's there-- from Dungeons & Dragons to The Raccoons to the infuriatingly long and ugly series Ulysees. In particular, I've fallen in love with The Mysterious Cities of Gold all over again. What a great series... I always wanted me a magic flying robot eagle.

Hell, yeah!

Did anyone ever see the last episode of Mysterious Cities of Gold? Can anyone tell me what happened? I was probably in detention or fighting with my sister that day or something.
