Yep. English day names are derived after the Norse Gods, presumably because England was invaded by the Vikings and Scandinavian and German conquerors.

We determined that the Latin languages references the Graeco-Roman Gods, didn't we, so that Lundi, Mardi, Mercredi, etc. all bore relation to the Spanish days of the week.

The big question is-- Why is April so-called? I know the other months, but not that! >:
