1) Dear Americans,

Do they sell those little chocolate Kinder eggs in America?

2) Does anyone remember a cartoon from the late 80s or early 90s, American, about these children who would go to sleep of a night and become super heroes in their dreams? There was a little dinosaur toy that came to life, a boy on a skateboard, a bossy girl... can anyone remember what it was called, because everyone I've asked remembers the cartoon, but not the title.

ETA: The savage [livejournal.com profile] sc1ssors1ster reliably informs me that the cartoon was called Potsworth and Company, after the smarmy dog in it. Yaaz!

3)After my computer was re-programmed following The Great Crash of '05, I've lost my DVD playing program, though of course I still have the actual DVD drive. Does anyone know of a reliable cheap or free driver I could download for Windows Media to play my DVDs, or a DVD playing program?

Also, Doctor Who was fab, as usual. Etc, etc.

That's really interesting. I'm reliably informed they're sold in Australia, Africa, of course, Europe and now Hong Kong. I wonder why they're not so readily available in the Americas?

Power DVD, eh? Thanks! I'll now go and try to get it. Legitimately, of course. Because piracy would be so bad. Oh, look! A flying pig!

Because they advertised them as "Easter Eggs".

I kind of liked it that they sold them once a year. It made them more cool and exciting to crack open that egg and get that crappy made in China plastic toy.

Now, the fun and mystery is gone when it's sold all the time.

LOL! I guess so. You're probably right-- it would add to the excitement of Easter. If you can get them every day of the year (with crappy plastic toy), it's not quite the same.
