Sleep is fast becoming my favourite thing in this world. I don’t know if it’s the painkillers, but I’m having the most fabulously lucid dreams that are only soured by the occasional overlong zombie or cockroach daymare. The zombies made their obligatory appearance at about ten this morning (that’ll teach me not to watch Dawn of the Dead again, hey, wig_maker?) so I took Mary up on an offer of Chinese supermarket goodness instead.

The Chinese supermarket is the best thing ever. We stocked up on those fabulous noodle bowls, some wasabi, nori, lychee drinks, green tea and rice wine before grabbing some prawns, crayfish, yellowfin tuna and crab, as well as avocado and red peppers. I spent the afternoon making maki rolls and such, and now the fridge is stocked with sushi. Happiness.

That’s the television and sushi commitments taken care of, then. Two more days off. Hmph. pigeongirl99, I think I may finally finish that Casanova fic this week. >:)
