You just have to hear all about this

I have just had the nicest lunch ever. My bro cooked a tofu stir-fry yesterday and I took some in for lunch today. I don't know what was in it but OM NOM NOM. I had it with bulgar wheat, spinach and red chilli peppers (I love burning my mouth, you see) and a light yoghurt and mint dressing.
I WISH I COULD EXPLAIN HOW TASTY IT WAS
In other non-news, an unofficial resolution for me this year was to read more. I have a massive pile of books I need to plough through but sleeping and internetting seems to drain my time. This is absolutely the worst time for me to discover Cityville on Facebook. It's taking over my life! :(
The book I'm trundling through now - and for which I will get off the internet and read for the rest of my lunch break - is Fatal Purity: Robespierre and the French Revolution. Now, I've always had a soft spot for poor old Robespierre. Yes, yes, incited the Terror, etc. He had some great ideals but such an ego. I'll review when I finally finish it.
I wonder how it'll end? >:D

But srsly this is a great book.

Date: 2011-01-18 10:36 pm (UTC)I am trying to read more as well. This may not be your problem, but I spend a lot of time with my laptop in bed, on the internets. So I am trying not to eat breakfast with the internet, or to look at the internet before sleep, and instead to read during those times. Sometimes I fail, like right now.
